Chichén Itzá

This impressive building is known as one of the New 7 Wonders – Chichén Itzá. Located in Mexico, construction invented and built by Mayans in honor of the Kukulkan – creator of the world as they believed. Imposing temple, which still hides lots of mysteries. Highly connected with mayan calendar and the rest of their culture. At first look it might look repetitive, but actually it’s very complicated to replicate. Chichén Itzá, constructed 600 years BC, was meant to measure time. This can be noticed especially during spring equinox, when the shadow takes the shape of snake, by the way which head you can see at the bottom of the stairs.
This building experience yet challenging was highly satisfying an I would love to share this piece of history with everyone.
