Hello F1 and Lego fans!

I present to you a Formula One car out of Lego.

Introduction:
This car is based on the F1 2016 season. I decided to go with that season because I just liked how the F1 cars looked like back then and I personally think that the 2016 season was quite interesting to watch and isn’t talked about enough. The season was quite action packed and saw a great title fight, which makes this season quite underrated in my opinion.

The model:
The car has almost zero studs visible, since they are covered by tiles and sloped pieces that allow to give the car a smooth and aerodynamic shape, which makes it very similar to the real cars from that season’s regulations. The build features many clever building techniques, which manage to capture every little detail from the real thing; from the front wing, to the pedals (yeah really, it even has pedals in the cockpit XD). I’ve also made a revolutionary implementation of wider wheels at the back by using two thin wheels together so that they become thicker than the standard tyres used at the front, making the car look even more accurate and realistic.

Functions:
Although the car is mainly brick-built (not LEGO technic), it still has plenty of functionality; it features a removable front and rear wing, manually working DRS, functional steering, removable headrest system and steering wheel, removable seatbelts and changeable drivers (you can decide whether to have one driver or another in the car by switching the drivers and the three-stud black/yellow tile on top of the car corresponding to a particular driver). The car also comes with a stand for display too.

Dimensions:
The dimensions of the car are these; length: 33cm, height: 6.5cm, width: 12cm.

Make this idea a real Lego set:
I hope you like my idea and please feel free to leave any suggestions or comments about my idea. Please support it if you want this to become a real set, that would be very much appreciated. Thank you and thanks for your time.
