TURN TO BLUE!
While I had the spare time I thought I'd add something that should have been here from the start. Officially known as TURN-TO-BLUE, this form is what the ghosts take after Pac-Man eats a power pellet and is capable of fighting back for a short time. They are built the same way as the regular ghosts on a 2x2 round plate just with all blue pieces and each individual tile has a printed design.
Keep spreading the good word about Lego Pac-Man! Every vote matters.
100 supporters have gobbled up a power pellet and we have 9,900 more to go!
Okay maybe a little inaccurate since as I'm typing this I have a total of 117 votes but that's semantics. We managed to hit the magic number that boosts my project from a month to a whole whopping year! Now the real hill climb begins.
I figured that since the first major milestone has been hit, I would update the project a bit. First of all, I embarrassingly never realized there were arms with technic pieces. I say embarrassing as I followed the new Lego Super Mario line which uses those pieces a lot. As such, I've changed the janky looking arms on the ghosts from the old pieces I used to the arms with technic pins. I also modified their shape as well. Personally, I think this looks much better and while I was at it, I gave them some facial expressions to give them some personality.
As well as this, I've also added a new minifigure and some nanofigures to go with her and she's known as Mother Fairy. I can't say she's the most recognizable Pac-Man character but I figured she has a large enough role in Pac-Land that I'd give her a minifigure. Besides, I was aching to have at least ONE custom minifigure in the project and not just brick-built figures. The green nanofigures are supposed to represent the fairies, one of which Pac-Man is entrusted to return home. (Yes the hair piece does fit over the butterfly wings, I double checked.)
To my current supporters, I encourage you to spread the good word around as I still have a long way to go and every vote counts. I also have some more fun updates planned ;) so stick around for those.
Peace, Adrianette.
