For thousands of years, people have looked up into the night sky and have been fascinated by Earth's natural satellite and closest neighbor, the Moon.
This 2205-piece Lego Art space poster "The Moon: Lunar Landscape", celebrates the beauty and topography of the Moon. At its center is a highly detailed, brick-built Moon, complete with unique craters and terrain features that showcase the Moon's striking geology.
"The Moon: Lunar Landscape" is beautifully designed in a scientific, retro style with vintage detailing that will look great on any wall. Alongside its stunning aesthetics, the set also offers unique educational opportunities by including the phases of the Moon, lunar facts and a brick-built panorama depicting Earth rising over the lunar landscape, showcasing our planet's fragile beauty as seen from the Moon's surface.
This is a redesign of the successful (but rejected at review) Lego Ideas submission "The Moon: Earth's Companion". This time, I have improved its accuracy and design, used only commercially available Lego bricks and colors and included an option to flip the design for builders in the Southern Hemisphere.
