The Hobbit - Dale

This is the city of Dale from The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey movie. I had that idea from looking on Helms Deep and I thought I could use the gate. So I made my version of Dale out of the foundations of Helms Deep. I build new walls, towers, a bridge and a new wind lance. You can rearrange all parts of it. You could destroy the highest tower and put some fires on the buildings.

It counts round 1.340 pieces.

There are 6 minifigures:

• Girion, Lord of Dale and ancestor of Bard the Bowman,

• 2 archers of Dale,

• 1 soldier.

• a little girl with a teddybear,

• a boy who can fly a kite (I don't know if its right in english.)

I also made a single wall with 3 soldiers as an extra set, which is coming next.

When the Battle of the Five Armies was over, the dwarves restored their kingdom under the Lonely Mountain and men began to settle once more in Dale, with Bard, the man who slew the dragon, becoming their first king.

Dale was sacked for a second time during the War of the Ring by invaders from the east. The people of Dale took refuge in the Lonely Mountain with the Dwarves, and it was during the Siege of Erebor that King Dáin II Ironfoot of the Lonely Mountains and King Brand of Dale were slain. However, after the fall of Sauron the siege was broken and Dale rebuilt once more.
