For this project I actually built a ship like this, and then I decided to build it in ldd. It took a while but I'm pleased with the result. As you can see I already have a story to go with it, James is a boy who wants to be a sailor, but not a pirate since he holds them in a negative regard (they are just thieves on the sea after all). But then he's caught by a pirate crew who are actually very nice and they go on an adventure.
