T34 Airplane

This set is based on the T34 airplane flown by the Lima Lima Flight Team. The model features a rotating propeller, spinning landing gear, unique color scheme, and two removable pilots. 

Based out of the Naper Aero flying club in Illinois, the Lima Lima Flight Team performs  aerobatics at airshows all over the country. I grew up in the Naper Aero aviation community, where the Lima Limas are a staple of the community. The group performes during holidays and other special events. They often give rides to children and teens to develop an appreciation for aviation.

This Lego set, with its unique yellow livery and numbered decals, is an ode to the inspiration the Lima Lima Flight Team has provided over the years. It makes a great playset and display piece.
