I propose a LEGO model of an American classic: the 1959 Ford F-250. I originally conceived of this project as a truck for the distraught farmer in LEGO's "Alien Conquest" theme. But the vehicle would be at home in nearly any sub-theme within LEGO City. I also think it evokes a certain "Smallville" ethos.
The model is six studs wide and features a cab outfitted with a steering wheel, speedometer, and stick shift lever.
