7.500 SUPPORTERS!!!

I'm really appreciate every single one of you who has supported this project. Thanks for the feedback and every way you have promoted this set. Thanks to all of you!! Now, for this update, I want to share whit you prototype versions of two thing in the set: the house and Kevin.

Behinds the scenes
Throught the evolution of the house they weren't a lot of differences with the built itself; as you can notice, it changed more the color palette. In the first version I was shure that the blue color of the roof wasn't the final. The second one I felt confident with the color but the more I saw the film (and different angles) I realised that the roof has a much faded blue. And eventually, in verion three, I also realised the yellow parts of the house need it a faded look too.

Kevin was a different case. With the first Kevin design I wasn't satisfided with the color, neither the building technics. The torso looked robotic and the colors weren't bright enough. The good thing is that just took me two version of the build to capture it (unlike the house).

WE DID IT!! 1000 SUPPORTERS!!

Thank you to everyone that has supported, shared or comment this project; it means a lot to my. Out of all my LEGO Ideas project this one has an special story. You see, this is not the first time I did this movie with LEGO. In fact the first version I did was in 2012, when thid site was called LEGO CUUSOO.

As you can see the model was simpler than the newer version. The 2012 model was made in LEGO Digital Designer (a great program for people who wants to start developing their own projects). I remmeber I had two comments when I released this and both told my the same thing: where are the balloons?. Those comments really stuck with my because they were right, Carl and Ellie's house can't be completed without the balloons. That inspired my to create the 2022 version with the fireplace-balloons system.
