Hand Model

This is an original design of mine. I am an artist and I used my professional knowledge to help create this work.

This hand is modelled from the structure of a human hand, the palm being the highlight of this work. It follows the anatomy of the human palm and is able to perfectly replicate the posture of the palm in action. Each finger is also provided with ample range of movement. This model acts as a tool to help understand the structural makeup of the palm and achieves this in very few pieces.

It can be used for teaching and entertainment, as well as a simple and elegant decoration. I often use it as a reference to solve problems in painting human hands.

Due to the inherent restrictions of Lego, each finger joint can only rotate by a maximum of 90 degrees, but this is usually enough.
