Tiger Lily

This construction is a replica of a branch of the tiger lily, shown here in the colors pink and dark red.

The arrangement of the petals in a hexagon is characteristic, which immediately catches the eye and which was not easy to implement in Lego parts.

The branch consists of a total of three blossoms, which are of the same design, as well as three leaves and a bud, all of which converge in a long stem. This results in a total of 1882 parts.

The tiger lily belongs to the lily family and is native to Asia, primarily in China, but also in Korea and Japan. Its colorful blossoms bloom in the summer from July to August.

Besides its spectacular appearance, the tiger lily is said to have expectorant and heart-strengthening properties in Chinese medicine, which is why the plant is also used as a medicinal plant in addition to Chinese cuisine.

I was inspired to build the lily by my girlfriend, who enthusiastically follows the LEGO Botanicals series.

The lily is her favorite flower, but it doesn't yet find a place in any of the sets in question.

On the one hand I think this is a pity, but on the other hand it is an opportunity for inspiration for me.
