The crane in the middle of the shop slides back and forth on its platform. In the back of the shop there is a viewing area upstairs. In the back of the shed there are common train parts stocked for repairs.
The shop bench area was from the 2003 Lego Train Engine Shed. At the front of the shed is a replacement engine from the new Horizon Train set.
There is a shop bench on both sides with a drill press and lathe.
