the idea is to represent the famous iconic painting by David Hockney "a Bigger splash", with Lego bricks with the dimensions as close as possible to the original 80 x80 cm
I love this painting and I think the new brick colors worked really well with this Californian atmosphere. The painting is in low relief and is not too complicated to make, rather pleasant to build in fact.
I studied arts at the Sorbonne and I have 2 children who are fans of Lego, it's a way for me to communicate to them my passion for this artist
