Girl With a Pearl Earring

Hello! This is my LEGO version of the painting, Girl With a Pearl Earring. It has a golden frame, a minifigure, and a canvas with the painting to complete the build. I wanted this build to be something I liked, so I created this painting, as it being one of my favorites.

The Build: This is the iconic Girl With a Pearl Earring, which has inspired a book and movie. It was painted in 1665 in the Netherlands by an artist named Johannes Vermeer. It shows a girl around 16, glancing over her shoulder. She wears a silky azure turban, with a yellow-brown jacket. Her most famous feature, though, is her pearl earring. I have shown all of this in a stylized way, and the portrait can be hung up on a wall if desired.

Final Thoughts: As LEGO is releasing many famous portrait sets, I think this would fit right in.
