Holy Lego bricks Batman it's the Batmoblie!
The 1966 Batmobile is probably my favourite Batmobile of all time. With its iconic red and black paintjob it strikes fear into Gotham’s criminal underworld.
I just had to re-create this car in Lego!
It has space for two minifigures figures - side by side, Batman and Robin.
The style of the original 1966 car is kept like its aggressive low and wide stance.
The scale of the car sits nicely alongside the recent Ecto 1 Ghostbusters Lego ideas model. The two look brilliant side by side on the shelf.
This set has gone through many draft stages with many rebuilds along the way.
I feel there has to be a official set made of the 1966 Batmobile!
