Gathered friends, listen again to our Legend of the BIONICLE...
Twenty years ago, six heroes washed up on the shores of Mata Nui. Since then, BIONICLE has lived on in the hearts of fans, thanks to its unique designs and epic multimedia storytelling. Relive the legend with this all-new brick-built playset, featuring iconic character Toa Tahu, the canister that brought him to the island, and a beach diorama.
If you want a highly-detailed collector’s diorama featuring Toa Tahu to be made into a brand-new official LEGO set, please click the blue "support" button (to the right on desktop/tablet, and above on phones). It takes just a couple of moments to sign up, or you can even use an existing social media account. This tribute needs 10,000 supporters to be considered to become a real set: if you're reading this, chances are you know someone else who's been a fan of BIONICLE, past or present—so make sure to show them the project, and share it on social media. It is your duty—only through unity can we shape our destiny!
This concept is faithfully inspired by Tahu’s debut appearance in the fan-favourite Mata Nui Adventure Game, and totals approx. 400 pieces. BIONICLE set out to be a "constraction" line—construction + action—and in that spirit this ingenious model offers highly-accurate details, stable joints for dynamic posing, and a building experience like no other.
However, just like Mata Nui, the set has secrets of its own… by using the parts from the canister, Tahu can be forever transformed, with a mask of greater power, improved body armour, and new enhanced tools. From great victories, the mighty hero Tahu Nuva arises!
- Store Tahu's pieces in their canister, closing the lid to protect him from the elements as he journeys to Mata Nui.
- Help Tahu rebuild himself on the beach!
- Pose and display Tahu atop the sand using his twenty points of articulation!
- Master the element of fire using the included effect parts!
- Discover the power of the Toa Nuva using parts from the canister!
This concept model was built and rendered using Studio 2.0. I’d like to thank in particular toastergrl
