This medium-sized German steam locomotive is a model of a Class 64 2-6-2T, a locomotive made and used during the 20s and 30s as a passenger train. This model is 6-wide, so it will fit in all minifigure scale train layouts, and although the loco is non-motorized it features working connecting rods and is able to maneuver all pieces of LEGO track geometry at a fairly high speed. The model also uses no “illegal” connections that would prevent it from becoming a set.
The model is a fairly easy build, perfect for people just getting into the LEGO Train hobby. The model also includes a small amount of parts, so the set would be affordable to anyone, including kids. The engine will make a fine addition to any LEGO Train layout or collection!
