Sea to Table - Restaurant and Rooftop Bar

This scene is inspired by the waterside buildings and restaurants in New England. I am capturing a modern seafood restaurant on the coast - where a fresh catch just came off the boat. The original ideas was for a lobster restaurant - my editor didn’t have lobsters - so crabs hang on the walls outside for now. I love the idea of depicting seaside villages and harbors and the interesting characters that inhabit them.

This scene consists of a seafood restaurant and roof top bar to enjoy the harbor view. Inside there is counter style seating and a chef’s kitchen with brick oven and modern amenities. (I would like to tile the floor in the kitchen and restaurant but having issues with program, btw).

Outside on the dock the fishermen (lobster-men) have just brought in their haul.

Future updates might include interior lighting in the restaurant, flooring and an overhaul on the brick fireplace.
