Lego Architecture - Des Moines Skyline

Iowa is getting its first ever store this year, and I felt inspired to highlight Iowa. The state has a rich concentration of great architectural buildings and the Des Moines Skyline is one of the best in the midwest. Nestled between two major rivers in Iowa with the new ICON water trail, the largest skate park in the world, one of the largest art festivals in the world occuring every year with a reknowned sculpture park as its backdrop, buildings by international architects, a handful of skyscrapers, and the most beautiful historic State Capitols in the US. Building something for yourself that expresses who you are and something that is part of your community has been something that has resonated with me my whole life. I am an architect, and I knew that was what I wanted to do since I was 8, due in large part to building with sets like this. I love the Architecture series, specifically the skyline sets (I have all of them). I would challenge the new store to do limited runs of city specific sets for its store locations! Nothing large or fancy, just grounding your store within the community. It could also garner excitement for the local store and the city.
