This is not my first Idea, I made two on a non-existent account (Toronto & Mexico City). I think someone out there remebers me :)
So this is my comeback. I haven´t made an IDEA since 2021 (I think so),I hope you like this Idea
And the IDEA came from thinking L.A is the second largest city in the U.S, also known as the "City of Stars" and one of the most iconic and famous cities around the world. Is home of a lot of iconic landmarks that we had seen in movies.
And we need more Skyline SETS!
This set includes 10 landmarks:
- Santa Monica.- Built in 1909, is home to Pacific Park, which features a solar-powered Ferris wheel.
- Venice Beach.- It was founded in 1905 by Abbot Kinney and was originally designed to resemble Venice, Italy, complete with canals and gondolas.
- Capitol Records Building.- The light at the top of the building flashes "Hollywood" in Morse code as a tribute to the city.
- Griffith Observatory.- It houses a functional Tesla coil, one of the few working exhibits of its kind in the world.
- Hollywood Sign.- It originally read "Hollywoodland" and was created in 1923 as a real estate advertisement.
- Hollywood Boulevard.- The Hollywood Walk of Fame has over 2,700 stars, honoring celebrities
- Los Angeles City Hall.- Its design was inspired by Mesopotamian ziggurat pyramids.
- Aon Center.- It was originally covered in Carrara marble, but it was replaced with granite after an earthquake.
- Wilshire Grand Center.-The tallest building in Los Angeles, standing at 1,100 feet (335 meters), featuring a glass crown with LED lights that change colors at night.
- US Bank Tower.- It features the Skyslide, a glass slide that lets visitors glide from the 70th to the 69th floor outside the building.
