Goldfinch

This is my model of a European Goldfinch (Carduelis carduelis) which I built because it is my favourite bird. It is a fun build and a great display piece for bird lovers.

About the real bird:

The goldfinch is one of the most beautiful birds, with its distinctive red face and striking yellow wing flashes. Its song is so pretty that it was once endangered due to intensive trapping for the cage-bird trade.

The model measures 14 cm long and 8 cm high (including the stand).

The LEGO Goldfinch consists of 104 pieces.
