Hello everyone.
What is it?
it is an elegant display to be placed in full view in your homes or offices, which shows a beautiful specimen of bearded vulture (Gypaetus barbatus), in the scene you can also see the remains of a carcass of a chamois (Rupicapra rupicapra).
The bearded vulture is a large bird of prey that lives at high altitude on the rocky mountains. It feeds mainly on the bones of dead animals. Often if the bone is too big they drop it from above on the rocks to break it into smaller pieces.
The complete set is made up of 1608 pieces, the base of the display measures 32x32 studs.
the wingspan of the model is 83 cm.
The peculiarity of this model are the wings that I built in such a way that they can be closed and opened just like the wings of a volture.
Why did you build it?
The bearded vulture is a fascinating inhabitant of the Alps and is observed in the Stelvio National Park which is a few hours' drive from my home. I built this set to add another species to the already beautiful LEGO animal sets.
It would look great on display alongside the LEGO Icons King Fisher set and other animal sets.
Why do I think this would be a great LEGO set?
This build will delight nature lovers, bird watchers and wildlife photographers with its realistic details that I have tried to recreate as well as possible. The Model can assume various postures making the set customizable. The setting with chamois remains also makes it a stunning display piece that will look proudly displayed in any home!
Thanks for watching, if you like the set, please rate it!!
