Reached 100...
Great - thank you all for the first 100 votes! Love your support - crossing fingers for more votes to come on the way to the next level.
Some other pyramid-build
As I was not too happy with the realization of the Pyramids of Giza (looking smooth, but a bit too small and kind of lost on their small space) and some comment pointed out the same problem, I tried to do another build for them.
Below I show the result - as I still wanted to have more than one pyramid and wanted to keep the ground space untouched, the only way was to increase the model in height. To avoid a too thick / massive look of each layer, I tried to leave some gaps showing studs, kind of representing the really ancient character (they are not smooth and even in reality, too) by having some missing parts / "stones".
I'm quite happy with the biggest one, but the left "mid" size one probably would work better without the second level (or maybe by having a 2x2 plate as second level and some 1x1 round plate as top maybe).
Thank you - correction of piece count
First I want to thank all of you, who have already supported this project - appreciate your backing, let's cross fingers it makes it up to 100 withing the time limit.
Furthermore, a little correction of my description - the set shown does "only" consist of about 500 pieces (not 1.000), I made a mistake reading my BOM for that model.
And finally, maybe I find time for some minor changes - esp. regarding the pyramids, as someone said in the comments, they are really quite "puny", but on the other hand I wanted to fit several of them on the restricted ground area and tried to avoid a look too "stepped". If I have any changes regarding that, of course I'll post an update here.
