Thanks to all the followers so far, means a lot to know there's at least 200 people who still like classic space lego :) - I just thought i'd add a note to say that this model is a playable model, its very sturdily built; and as shown here built from official Lego bricks (some older than I am!) - I respect that a lot of Lego Ideas projects need people to use 3D software to design them, because Lego is expensive - but this model has been built from the ground up with real bricks and trial and error to make a playable fun ship that just begs to be swooshed
Anyway, thanks for supporting this project and even if it doesn't go much further i appreciate the support you've shown!
