Thank you so, so much for everyone's interest in this idea, the support has blown me away. To find 99 other fans of both LEGO and SimCity I thought would be about the limit, but to gain 1,000 supporters in just under a month is amazing!
The comments have been wonderful, but a few people have noted that, for a SimCity, the general level of peril is low, and there's not enough stuff on fire. They are correct. So to remedy that, and to celebrate the population having reached 1,000, let's unleash an alien UFO attack on our city! The alien UFO attack features the infamous alien craft that can attack your city in the game. The craft is a black sphere with 4 large metallic claws, and a building-destroying tractor beam blasting from underneath.
This update adds the Alien UFO attack as well as some minor updates to a couple of the residential mid-rise tower blocks, taking the total number of parts to 2933.
