Update 1

So what's been updated?  Quite a lot...

The total piece count has gone down from 3000 to 2806, this is mainly due to the redesign of the bow and stern by using different building techniques.  Overall this leaves the ship to be shorter in length and height by 6 bricks and narrower by 4 bricks.

All the sails have been reduced in size and with some redesigning to better depicted the real sail shapes.

Both the bow and stern now include flexible peices to better represent the curves and angles of the frigate.

The Captains Cabin has been updated to include a more luxurious desk and chair (including maps / important papers, quill and ink pot, 2 medcine vials, his personal collection of books); a globe (to plot future passages); a wig / hat stand (to keep the Post Captains uniform sharp); and a diorama (to plan fleet movements / co-ordinating attacks on enemy strongholds).

The main interior has been reconfigured to add more detail both fore and aft including: brig, store room (including 2 chickens), new galley, 2 tables with hidden pistols (which can be revealed when the wooden tables are split into 2 gun ports which the cannons can then be placed on), cannon storage area, 4 mess tables (which can also be converted into gun ports).

Finally the smallest change is that of the mini HMS Surprise model that also comes with this set.

I hope you like the updates I've made to the model as much as I enjoyed redesigning and thanks to all those that have already supported!
