The Grandparents' Cottage: The Next Chapter

The model shown in the image integrates three interrelated narrative modules. Utilizing modular elements, the structure can be easily expanded or reduced in scale, offering a creative and playful space for exploration.

The module incorporates two additional narrative layers, which are: mom and dad.

When she was a little girl, her dad – now the grandpa – taught her how to recognize mushrooms, look for animal tracks, and find magical places in the forest. One of those places was the old oak tree. Grandpa always told a story that a long time ago, someone hid a treasure under its roots.
Now, as a grown-up, the mom comes back with her own daughter. She wants to show her everything she used to love. Every walk in the garden forest like going back to her childhood – and when she picks a mushroom, she remembers doing the same with her dad.

The girl’s dad, who usually walks around with his camera trying to capture every beautiful moment, had a little adventure this time. He went closer to the house to take a photo of the trees, and suddenly saw a huge spiderweb on the wall. He got so scared, he jumped! and his camera fell into a small stream that flows behind the wooden house. Mom just laughed and said, “It’s only a spider, darling. It’s lived here longer than we have!”
He didn’t get the perfect photo, but he got a funny story to tell. That’s what visiting the grandparents is all about – surprises, laughter, and special memories together.
