We crossed 2000 supporters this week, thanks to everyone who has shared, supported and been a part of this project so far, you're awesome!
Bush wheels!
Here's a small update to give the Cub optional bush wheels, also known as tundra tires. Bushwheels are specialized tires used by bush pilots. Their low pressure allows aircraft to operate from rough terrain. Although originally a custom modification to various light aircraft, bush tires have now become so popular that they are often seen on many Cubs, both the J-3 and its successors such as the PA-18 Super Cub.
To be added in a future edit to the main project page...
Optional parts update
With a couple of extra parts, you can now add wheel fenders and/or a dome spinner to your Piper Cub if you wish!
Baggage update!
And we now have baggage for the crew! The pilot's bag contains a checklist, charts and snacks for the flight! These will be added in a future edit of the project.
