We have reached 460+ supporters in 15 days which is amazing and almost half way to the 1000 supporters 182 day extension thank you to everyone who has supported so far and share the project.

When you visit any city or town across the world and look at the buildings you see all shapes sizes old and new mixed together in various ways this corner building helps you achieve this with its various heights on the roof section, below is just one of many possible ways of how buildings can be added next to the LEGO Chip Shop Deluxe Version. With flat roof areas small tiled sections it creates the look of a building that has been there a while with other buildings added to it over the years. Like i said this is only one of many possible ways of adding buildings either side I hope we can make the 10,000 supporters mark and the project gets approved by LEGO so I can see the LEGO Chip Shop Deluxe Version in your LEGO City soon!

A few places around the world don't have Chip Shops so we thought we would share this bit of information from the national federation of fish friers on why we think LEGO needs a Chip Shop and fish and chips!

There are currently in the region of 10,500 specialist fish and chip shops in the UK.These dramatically outnumber other fast food outlets: McDonalds has only 1,200 outlets, Kentucky Fried Chicken 840.

British consumers eat some 382 million portions of fish and chips every year. That's six servings for every man, woman and child.Annual spend on fish and chips in the UK is in the region of a staggering £1.2 billion!

80% of people visit fish and chip shops at least once a year.

22% of people visit fish and chip shops every week.

56% of people buy fish and chips to eat in the home as a family meal.

Fish and chips make a balanced, nutritious meal. They are a valuable source of protein, fibre, iron and vitamins.

Fish and chips provide a third of the recommended daily allowance of vitamins for a man and nearly half for a woman.

An average portion of fish, chips and peas contains only 7.3% fat of which 2.8% is saturated fat. This compares with 10.8% fat in a pork pie and 16.8 grams you will find in a tuna mayonnaise sandwich.

The world's first fish and chip shop is believed to be Malin's, opened in 1860 on Old Ford road, East London. They later moved to different sites in East London, with the business since closing down.
