This is a LDD digital model of version 2: "Triple Decker Seven Flippers" pinball machine. The big difference compared with the recent version is that all 3 decks are parallel planes. No reverse playfield nor reverse flippers either. 

I discovered that LDD's hinge-align tool can also be used as a mechanical /physical stimulation tool. This video showed that all 7 flippers were linked with two buttons. The video quality is not so good because it was filmed with a camcorder, instead of using screen recording software. Besides, it was filmed 9  years ago.

It took many years to develop this Lego pinball system. In order to optimize the flipper mechanism. I keep improving it through more than 20 versions. Here is version 1 and 2. It was made about 10 years ago.

 

 

Realistic playfield flashing lights effect. I will replace this with animated one later.

Two A4 120 grams glossy inkjet papers playfield printed out. Thinner paper makes light pass through easier. There are thousands of high quality playfield and decoration objects images can be downloaded from pinball video game (with table editor) freeware (ie: Visual pinball / Future pinball). They have playfield and decoration object images of all the tables in the market. Also included the vintage / antique tables. You have to pay for playing license tables. But you can export all the texture images in the table editor for non commercial use for free.

They also have tons famous and custom made video game tables. For example the legendary "Space Cadet" table which bundled with Microsoft Windows 95. It was originally packaged with Microsoft Plus! I bet you have paly it before.

It also reminds me the Microsoft Word 97 has a hidden pinball game as its Easter egg.

The cover sheet is a 240 grams glossy inkjet paper 🖨 . Did you notice that the diamond 💎 of Mr. gold image is different from the official one? Actually, it is a render image of “The most expensive minifigure ever” concept (year 2015). It is an ideal cut diamond model that I precisely modeled to a 100% accuracy in all cutting angles for best light reflecting effect just like the real diamond. He is made of real 24K solid gold. His hands are made of glow in the dark emerald or jade. 🤑
