LEGO Pond Life

Description

This model of a pond is highly detailed, realistic and, for the most part, 1:1 scale. It includes three pond creatures - a large frog, a small frog and a large dragonfly - as well as a bee, a realistic lily pad and a beautiful lily. These combine to form an amazing pond scene as well as an additional dragonfly and frog! To one side of the scene is a detailed bank with lots of lush grass. Have fun playing while learning about ponds and their amazing fauna and flora. Note: the bending lily's stem is created by slotting 2by2 round bricks/plates loosely onto a LEGO flex rod.

Pieces

The model, although it looks big is actually only around 1450 pieces (I did a rough count up).

Aim

The aim of this Product Idea is to create a educational but fun LEGO set that is for all the family. Adults and teenagers will have great fun building this model, as it has many fun but rather tricky building techniques, while children will love playing with it and the fully pose-able frog while learning about pond life.
