Desert in Bloom

Coming from a desert community, I wanted to capture what the desert looks like after a good rainfall. I included many plants such as cacti, Yucca and Prickly Pear. Lurking in their dens are a scorpion and tarantula just waiting for their next meal. My favorite features of this set include the waterfall leading into a small spring, the cattle skull, vulture, horse and broken bottles. I also like that the set is small and is built on three separate platforms. The model was challenging to build due to the detail I tried to capture. I enjoyed designing this set and look forward to designing future sets.
