Vostok Space Capsule

The very first manned Spacecraft. The Vostok.

In 1961 Yuri Gagarin became the first human in space. beating the US by a month. 6 other Vostok missions followed from 1961-1963. their achievements included the first woman in space, and the first time two manned spacecraft were in space simultaneously.

This year marks 60 years of Human space flight. and to commemorate it I have made every manned spacecraft to leave the atmosphere in Minifigure Scale out of Lego Bricks. (the first time I know of that that has been done, might I add)

While I am an American, Vostok nevertheless a great achievement for mankind.

The set contains 475 pieces and includes a Yuri Gagarin mini figure.
