Did you know? Alyson Court who is known for playing Loonette from the Big Comfy Couch knows Steve Burns? Such a nostalgic twist huh? Better yet, Alyson and Steve both wrote a Halloween episode for Blue’s Clues and You! “The Ghost of the Living Room”.

in March 2002, We Are Family Foundation made a cover version of the Sister Sledge song “We Are Family” featuring more than 100 known cartoon characters from shows airing at the time to teach kids about tolerance and diversity. The networks who joined were Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, and PBS. In March 2005, the foundation sent free DVD’s all over public and private elementary schools for kids to be educated.

On August 14, 2000, Nick Jr premiered Dora The Explorer a show about 7 year old Latina girl who teaches kids to learn Spanish and go exploring. Around that time, Blue’s Clues was still airing and was the longest running Nick Jr show from (1996-2006) until surpassed by Dora The Explorer (2000-2019).

On August 10 2004 Nick Jr released a spin-off to Blue’s Clues called Blue’s Room which was a live action puppet show where Blue was able to talk to the viewers. The first time Blue spoke was on an episodes of Blue’s Clues Season 6 episode 133 “The Legend of the Blue Puppy” which introduced Blue as a puppet.
