Hey hey, The Krusty Burger is back!
Woo-Hoo!
Introduction:
The Simpsons, TV's longest-running comedy. The show that has given thousands of people around the world a good laugh.
The Krusty Burger, the most iconic restaurant in all of Springfield. Now, you can recreate all of your favorite classic moments in LEGO.
Background:
I was initially very surprised with how quickly and minimally my favorite LEGO theme retired. Given all of the possible locations Springfield has to offer, I expected to see many more Simpsons sets and Minifigures released throughout the years. Ultimately piecing together a LEGO Springfield town of my own. Instead, we only got two sets and two series of CMFs for the beloved town, The Simpsons House, The Kwik-E-Mart, The Simpsons Minifigures Series 1, and The Simpsons Minifigures Series 2.
Given the show's success, and with it being the longest-running TV comedy, it didn't cross my mind that the theme would get discontinued with so few sets. Seeing LEGO retire this property, encouraged me to design and build what you see in front of you, The Krusty Burger!
The set that we all anticipated to have after The Kwik-E-Mart.
Features and Details:
- Features a fully designed exterior and interior (including a kitchen, dining area and a bathroom) with fully opening rear walls and a removable roof allowing full access into the inside.
- Some of the smaller details are a full Krusty menu, milkshake dispenser, surveillance camera, cooking stove along side a deep fryer with ventilation vents, and a handful of Krusty Burgers to satisfy Homer Simpson!
- To apply the finishing touch to The Krusty Burger, I've included the "Krusty Burger" sign.
- Also included is Marge's Orange Station Wagon featuring enough space to seat up to 4 minifigures.
- All 9 minifigures most iconic to The Krusty Burger! Homer Simpson, Plopper, Marge Simpson, Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson, Maggie Simpson, Jeremy Freedman, Mr. Teeny, and of course Krusty the Clown!
