They were once a merry band of outlaws, but one day everything changed. They needed to find common work, and common lives. One became a butcher. Another took up carpentry, fell in love, married, had a son, and built a reputable business. But he never forgot his roots... from deep within the forest...

This build was inspired by my other recent Ideas project: the Medieval Butcher. Of course, the excellent Medieval Blacksmith, originally by Namirob, and wonderfully finalized by the Ideas team (Wes and Austin) is another inspiration. A recent Brickfanatics article that mentioned the possibility of modular-style medieval buildings, possibly coming from the LEGO Ideas pipeline, so my creativity gears started turning.

The Medieval Carpenter uses the same basic formula as the Medieval Butcher: the carpenter's work shed (or "shop"), the carpenter's house (built in a completely different style than the butcher's house, and inspired heavily by Rothenburg ob der Tauber), and a "vignette" of the carpenter working on a deer head wooden sculpture.

I hope you enjoy the Medieval Carpenter, please also support the Medieval Butcher!! Thank you!
