Thank you for checking out my LEGO Ideas submission for BrickHeadz Mount Rushmore!
I am OBSESSED with BrickHeadz! I love the look and style of them. I love their collectibility. I love their potential and possibilities. I love the challenge of designing BrickHeads of my favorite subjects with just the right balance of detail, personality, and simplicity.
If you've never seen it, Mount Rushmore is a massive monument to some of America's greatest Presidents, carved atop a mountain in the Black Hills of South Dakota. It's an incredible sight! I've visited it only once; I hope to go back again.
Usually, I just design your standard BrickHeads on their little flat bases. With Mount Rushmore, I tried to create something more elaborate, and still stay pretty faithful to the BrickHeadz format and scale.
Weighing in at 539 pieces and measuring about 7.7 x 6.5 x 3.6 inches, BrickHeadz Mount Rushmore captures the spirit of this great monument, instilled with BrickHeadz charm and displayed upon a detailed mountain-top base of Ponderosa pine trees and even a couple of mountain goats!
The figures of Presidents Washington, Jefferson, Roosevelt, and Lincoln can detach from the base, so you can mix them up, play with them, or display them separately if you so choose.
I am quite pleased with how BrickHeadz Mount Rushmore turned out, and I hope you are, too. Won't you please support this project with your vote on LEGO Ideas, and sharing this Ideas page on your favorite social media platforms?
