Cricket was invented in the early 17th century in North American English colonies. Ever since then it has grown and grown and is now the 2nd most popular sport in the world!
My build is a world cup cricket stadium. I built it because I love sport (particularly cricket and soccer) and to celebrate all the teams that have participated in the 2023 Mens Cricket World Cup! Also I built it because there are quite a few Lego soccer stadiums and I feel like cricket deserves a place in Lego history.
I think my build would make an awesome set because it is a beautiful and simple display piece and a perfect size for a mantelpiece or coffee table.
