Gremlins

Gremlins is one of the most beloved films of the 1980s. It is a classic dark comedy created by Chris Columbus, Joe Dante and Steven Spielberg and produced by Amblin Entertainment.

For over 35 years, this wildly original story about a small suburban town invaded by a horde of mischievous creatures on Christmas eve has delighted fans of all ages. Since its release, the Gremlins have become pop culture icons that have appeared in several other movies, commercials, video games and more. They've even flirted with LEGO a few times -- with LEGO creating a giant "LEGO Gremlin" that appeared in Gremlins 2, and the Gremlins crossing over as villains in The LEGO Batman Movie and LEGO Dimensions.

This LEGO Ideas project proposes the first-ever LEGO Gremlins playset. It pays tribute to the original film's many memorable scenes and revisits the world of Gremlins, Gremlins 2: The New Batch, and the upcoming animated series, Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai.
