A little crossover

First of all, please allow me to say a big thank you to everyone that has voted for this project.

To achieve 10,000 supports within a year on my Mecha related projects? Is it even possible? Yes that question has definitely crossed my mind. The more I think about it and as the timer ticks closer to zero, the harder it becomes.

It is then that I walked passed a bookshop and saw a poster of a smiling Mr Nick Vujicic and his book - Life Without Limits. This isn't a religious write up but I just wish to share with you his inspirational life. Nick eagerly spreads his central message: "The most important goal is to find your life's purpose and to never give up, despite whatever difficulties or seemingly impossible odds stand in your way."

The goal I have for this project is to reach 10,000 supports for the Lego review team to evaluate if this can be made into an official set. There are many things that are beyond my control but I have this belief; if you work and drive hard enough towards a goal, people will notice. I am happy to see comments that they notice the details on this project. I welcome all comments and constructive criticism; they keep me leveled and maintain the hunger for me to learn. The world is so big out there and with so many talents, there is no room to be complacent.

One key question has surfaced from the many interest groups' comments. There is already a Lego Ideas project on Exo-suit, what are the chances that this project will even ever be produced if it reaches 10,000? My honest answer is this; a true Mecha fan never stops at ONE.

There are 2 real life case studies that I can provide you with.

1) Hot Toys - how many versions of the Iron Man collectables are there in the market right now? Ok, I really lost count. Are the fans buying them? YES!

2) Transformers - well do I really need to say more?

The conclusion is this. Mecha fan base is enormous! That explains why there are so many Mecha related projects on the then Lego Cuusoo and now Ideas.

I can only see a situation that the Exo-suit and this project to co-exist and compliment each other if it ever gets selected.

I do have weaknesses. I am restricted by my language abilities to share this project to the English and Chinese speaking communities. If you are with me till this stage and hungry enough to make this project a reality, please help to spread this project to your community in other languages and gather the support. The moment this project gets approved on Lego Ideas it's actually about you, the Lego fan that holds the power to make it happen.

My next update will be focusing on photos for action poses. I am serious when I said the display stand allows this project to be posed in many different ways. The Heroes factory and Mixels parts offer great articulation.
