Deep in the forest lies a dark and dangerous place... Are you brave enough to enter the Vampire's Lair?
I'm excited to present you my new project voor LEGO Ideas: Vampire's Lair. For this build I wanted to combine Gothic architecture with elements from my favorite LEGO themes like Castle, Monster Fighters and Adventurers. The set consists of 1300 pieces and features 3 minifigures and a bat monster.
The spooky looking fortress is built to make a nice display piece, while keeping everything easily accessible for play.
The 3 minifigures in my project are: the sinister vampire, the fearless Wolfpack monster hunter and his frightened squire.
The vampire's chamber is full of hidden treasure. In here, you can find his coffin, a magic scroll and a table with a crystal ball. Removing the coffin reveals the vampire's legendary sword!
Watch out! The treasures in Vampire's Lair are well guarded! Let me know if you recognize the part I used for the cone-shaped stand below the ruby.
Vampire's Lair is inspired by Gothic architecture from the Middle Ages. The exterior features several menacing looking statues, ornaments and gargoyles. The statue on the top level honours the infamous Bat Lord.
