What's up, LEGO community?
Here's the idea. I was trying to figure out what building would make a good addition to the awesome SIMPSONS sets we already might have. The school is a classic location of the show. It has potential for new mini figures, and school's are a rare thing in the LEGO world. Apart from Hogwarts and the Friends brand I guess.
The school consists of four parts that form the building, while six additional make the roof, see the photos. On the first floor, you'll find the gym, Skinner's office, a restroom and the teacher's lounge. On the second, I incorporated a classroom and the cafeteria.
In the gym, you can arrange chairs for public announcements to the parents. You'll find dressing rooms and a shower there as well. Skinner's office features a desk, chairs, a cupboard, pictures and shelves.
The restrooms comes with three cabins. In the teacher's lounge, there is a desk, shelves, an AC unit, a fridge, a coffeemaker, a mixer and a garbage bin. On the hallway of the first floor, you'll also find lockers, a vending machine, a bonsai tree and a water fountain.
In the class room, there's a chalkboard, shelves with stuff for biology / chemistry projects, a globe and Lisa's French hat. The cafeteria is equipped with a kitchen and a serving desk. On the menu, you'll find hamburger's and spaghetti with meatballs and tomato sauce, as well as donuts. On the hallway of the second floor, there are banners for school announcements and a trophy rack.
The set comes with an American flag, and a playground for the children.
I didn't really include mini figures here. There's a lot of potential here. LEGO could include some that already exist, like Bart, Millhouse, Lisa, Edna Krabappel, Groundskeeper Willie or Martin. New figures should include Skinner and Chalmers. Doris the lunch lady would be another good fit, but I guess to unknown of a character.
Additional equipment include a chessboard for the chess club, silverware, Bart's spider, pretzels, the podium, a basketball, a book and a cart for Willie. Last, there's also a TV, on which Troy McClure could (and should, in my opinion) appear. Last, it also includes Nibbles, the hamster, complete with hamster wheel.
Yep, that's it. If you like it, please let me know in the comments. Please support and tell all your followers. Also, feel free to check out my other ideas. Thank you so much, see you soon with new ideas!
At this point, I wanna thank LEGO for the two awesome SIMPSONS set they blessed us with.
