Did you know that the pendulum's swing time doesn't depend on mass and amplitude? Now you can create your own physical experiment to see that the cycle time depends only on the length.

This set has eight pendulums made of ninjago spinners. You can set up each pendulum length very precisely using worm gears.

If you choose the right lengths pendulums will create waves first. After 30 seconds blue and yellow will be in antiphase. After one minute, they'll all synchronised.

How to get it.

The longest pendulum must have a 1 second period which gives 60 cycles per minute. The second one must have 61 cycles per minute, the third 62 cycles etc. And the eighth must have 67 cycles.
