Interstellar

Introducing my latest project: Interstellar. This build features a detailed model of the tesseract, combined with iconic scenes and characters from the 2014 film.

Ten years on, the movie Interstellar remains one of my all-time favorites, and I’ve always felt it deserved its own LEGO set. But there are so many iconic scenes, characters, places and ships that all deserve to be built, so I wanted to find a way to include them all in one creation. Therefore, I decided to settle on the tesseract design as depicted inside the black hole as the main build.

The structure is built at an angle on a base that shares the same striped style. Built into it are two dioramas: one of Miller’s planet and another of Mann’s planet. In the front is Murph’s room. Also included is the black hole Gargantua and the Endurance ship.

The model includes 5 minifigures and two robots in total. Cooper (astronaut) is seen floating in the middle of the build, Brand and CASE are on Miller’s planet, Mann and TARS are on Mann’s planet and Murph and Cooper (earth outfit) are in Murph’s room. All astronaut minifigures have extra hairpieces.

The 4,650-piece build measures 40x40x49 centimeters (15.75x15.75x19.30 inches), roughly equivalent to the area of one gray 48x48 stud baseplate.

This is a creation that brings together all the beloved visuals, scenes, and characters from Interstellar in one cohesive structure, as well as celebrating the film’s powerful messages of love, space and time. It serves as a perfect set for fans of the film and space exploration alike.
