Physical build progress

So I've pretty much exhausted my funds for this project for the time being with a number of tiles and the last floor missing detailing but this is where I got to, I really love how huge this, no idea where i'm going to put it though!

Thing I'm saddest about is that I simply could not afford to purchase the light blue grey 1x4 masonry profile bricks, they were just too expensive for me so the wall has lines down if from using all the 1x2 masonry bricks.
The fact that the parts I used for the tree in the design do not exist in anything other than grey and lastly that the dark tan bits on the roof don't exist, this also leave some gaps on the front, they should be hiding some of where the wood work ends in the middle of the wall... oh well I still think it looks good :).

Part of the chimney is still missing as I changed it to headlight bricks after I had purchased and collected the bricks to start the build and all my greys are back in the loft (I have very little space for this sort of thing).

Photos updated - redesigned front / back and insides

Just to let you all know that the photos on this project have been updated, I changed dark brown for red brown and baseplates to greens, I also had to redesign the front as the bricks didn't let me do what the software did so I fixed that issue (and in my opinion improved it!), I also redesigned the back as I wasn't happy with it.

During this process I also redesigned the doors and door ways (and added locks to the doors). I've tried to be more efficient with some bits (mostly plates here and there where i'd used 2 smaller ones have been combined into one larger one), some pieces were also cut from the chimney, overall this allowed me to save parts enough to improve the internal details in the 1st and 2nd stories (photos updated there too) while still staying under 3k parts.

I added more details in the bar / kitchen area including some asparagus and some leeks, chopping board and swapped the axe for a cleaver, made one of the bottles blue, changed the bowls for smaller ones.

Lastly I increased the size of the heraldry on the Stallion knights because when I printed out some designs it was too small.

I hope you like the improvements I've made!

Top floor :)

Working away on the top floor.
Still no pictures of the back while I wait for parts, plus I've redesigned the back a bit and need some more tiles to finish it.

Started the build - had to make some mods...

So software isn't perfect it allowed me to do somethings even with collisions on that it didn't complain about at the time that physically I cannot actually do, it seems to be when things are built on the side that the software thinks that things are fine when they are not.

I've got most of the parts together for the roof (the ones that actually exist in the colours I've chosen to use (note Red-brown substituted for Dark brown as there simply isn't anything like enough Dark brown available for use yet).

Also ordered bits for the 2nd storey and the 1st storey, the rest and missing bricks I cannot afford right now!

I'm glad I chose to try and build as much of it physically as possible so I can correct the issues in the design that the software allowed, it has also allowed me to look at what I've used during the build and free up a few more bricks which I have used to add extra details onto the 1st and 2nd floors in the software (which I will update on later once I am allowed to edit the project (you have to leave a month between submissions / edits)).

Anyway here is where i'm at.
The roof slopes (Skate ramps) were expensive to source and have come from all over Europe.
As you can see I had to change the slopes on the front of the roof, as the software believed they could fit together but due to the ... bezel for want of a better word around the grill part of the slope they wont fit together like the software imagines so I had to resort to more 1x1 cheese slopes, the happy upside is I prefer the new design.
I have also remodelled the back roof wall which again will be seen when i'm allowed to edit..
