Oregon's Multnomah Falls is the tallest waterfall along the famous Columbia River Gorge, located in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. With a total height of 620 feet (189 m), it is among the most popular tourist attractions in the region, drawing more than 2 million visitors each year.
A distinctive feature of the Multnomah Falls is the Benson Footbridge, which spans the top of the lower falls. The bridge, hiking trails, and observation platforms provide visitors with spectacular views of the upper and lower falls, the Multnomah Falls Lodge below, and the Columbia River Gorge.
With 783 bricks, LEGO Multnomah Falls is the third of my LEGO Waterfalls sets, following my previously released microscale versions of LEGO Niagara Falls and LEGO Yosemite Falls. While not apparent in the images, I've made a lot of improvements to the wall-building techniques from my earlier sets, while still retaining the distinctive use of medium azure grill pieces to form the waterfall.
I believe the natural world is a "natural" next-step for Lego's popular series of Architecture microscale sets. If you agree, please help by supporting and following these projects. Thank you and best of luck to you all!
