With a total drop of more than 2,400 feet (700 m), Yosemite Falls is one of the tallest waterfalls in the world. The falls consist of three main sections; Upper Yosemite Fall, the Middle Cascades, and Lower Yosemite Fall. It is an iconic landmark in California's Yosemite National Park.

Lego Yosemite Falls is the second in my "Lego Waterfalls" series. With 480 pieces, the set includes all three sections of the waterfall, plus the towering granite cliffs of Yosemite and the quiet meadow below. I designed the cliff walls to have plenty of handholds for the many rock climbers who visit Yosemite each year.

Yosemite Falls was the first waterfall set I designed. The idea came from my now-expired Lego Naboo "Star Wars Architecture" set. The cliff walls and waterfall in the Naboo set reminded me of the beauty of Yosemite, and I immediately began to work on this set. I perfected the wall-building technique on my second waterfall set, Niagara Falls, and then returned to Yosemite to finish the design. You can see my Lego Niagara Falls set here:
