In the background, an unfortunate photographer stubbles upon the train. She tries to snap a picture of it but is stricken with fear and finds herself unable to move.

Hello Everyone,

I am excited to announce that the lego team over at BricksinBits has written an article about Train 57. It describes the inspriation I used to design the train, as well as additional background info on me and the build. I have attached a link below to view the article. It is in spanish, but it can be translated through the google chrome translate option. Hope you enjoy it and until next time!

A Returning Project

After 5 years of sitting on the shelf, I am bringing this project back into the light as it would fit very well with the Lego Disney Cinderella Castle. The model is based off the Walt Disney Railroad #2 E.P. Ripley, with associated train. It will include figures of Mickey, Walt Disney, Goofy, Donald, and Minnie. Here are some picture of what the set looks like currently.

The sound of Train 57

The design of Train 57 was inspired by two songs I was listening two during its construction. They way I pictured the train was by closing my eyes and imagine what would be a style that would best fit the tone and lyrics of the music. The result was a unque blend of colors and concepts, and a new take on the ghost train.

Both songs are attached, please give them a listen and comment what you think.
