A Mini LEGO AirPort With a Mini Plane.

This LEGO creation is a miniature airport with a small passenger airplane. The wings on the airplane are moveable so that they may be placed at an angle. The airport includes an miniature canopy where the plane can be placed. The runway is a stand alone feature, so that it can be placed anywhere around the airport. There is also an observation tower.

I built this model because I find airplanes interesting and enjoy researching what different types of planes exist. Although I have built several larger planes, I found it both fun and challenging to build one on such a small scale.

My model would make a great LEGO set because it is unique. Due to its small size, it is easy to store. In addition, it is fun to play with. Children can pretend to have the plane take off and land on the runway. Also, because of the models small size, it would be easy for older LEGO enthusiasts to display in their collections.
