ROMAN EMPEROR'S CARRIAGE
This is a carriage the Roman emperor uses to travel between different cities. The roof can be removed for easy access to the interior. Inside there are two nice plush seats for minifigs to sit in. The front two wheels can swivel so the carriage can turn. It includes a little bit of scenery, with a sign post, an olive tree, and a statue honoring the the Roman god Mercury to grant good fortune to passing travelers. There is also a trunk, which the emperor uses to store important scrolls and other items.
The set includes two minifigures:
- The Emperor
- The carriage driver
The carriage measures about 9 in. long by 3 in. wide. (23 cm x 8 cm).
The piece count is approximately 348.
I built this model because I love history, especially Greco-Roman history, and because Lego is a really fun way of bringing history to life. It would make a great Lego set because it makes a nice little display piece which fits neatly on any desk or bookshelf, and because it would be kind of fun to roll it around and play with it.
I hope you support it!
